The project focus is on the development and use of alternative energy by planting 300,000 trees, production of 320 ceramic jikos, construction of 240 Maenedeleo jikos, installation of 20 biogas units in 20 households, establishment of woodlots both for fuel and fodder for animals. In addition, the project will mobilize and sensitise communities on environmental protection and conservtion measures. 20 women groups will be formed and 60 women will be trained on the production and use of ceramic stoves.
