Practical measures for biodiversity increasing and its sustainable use of the lake Drisvyaty
Aims of the Project
1. Carry out vegetation mowing on 48 ha of two lake islands;
2. Ensure that the islands is mown during at least 3 subsequent years;
3. Conduct mutual annual monitoring of vegetation and birds communities with focus on globally threatened spices on mowed areas;
4. Construction of the facilities for International ecotourism site on one island of lake Drisvyaty
5. Removal of two cow-sheds from the water protected lake zone
6. Lobbing for spreading positive experience to other CBC lakes and wetlands of Belarus and Lithuania
