Sustainable Integrated Organic Farming for Marginalised Local Communities, Especially for Single Mothers and Disabled People.
This planning grant is provided to assist in the establishment of a sustainable integrated organic farm in partnership with two particular marginalised communities, namely the single mothers and disabled persons. This organic farm will cultivate herbs, vegetables, fruits and flowers, as well as promoting green waste recycling. Capacity building of the marginalised cmmunities will provide them with a sustainable livelihood. Outreach aimed at young adults and children on the importance of biodiversity, the use of eco-friendly agricultural methods to conserve the environment.
