Higali Household Energy Conservation and Community Based Solar Powered Water Supply Project
The project aims at reducing deforestation by applying a sustainable rate of utilization of the fuel wood; to improve access to safe drinking water and use of improved fuel saving stove; to increase the knowledge of Higali community and relevant local government personnel on future energy and environmental crisis that would occur if not acted up on in a sustainable way and improve the health and life style of the community specially the women and children through provision and introduction of water, sanitation and energy awareness creation program.
