Conservation of River Malaba
Conservation of River Malaba
The project purpose is to improve the water quality in River Malaba by reducing the dumping of waste by Malaba town dwellers in the river. The project will work in close partnership with the town council authorities and the community members in Malaba parish. This includes households and business enterprises and some people living in the slum area. Malaba town is on the border between Kenya and Uganda. Collaboration with Kenyan NGOs in Malaba will be sought during implementation so that they can start a similar project on the Kenyan side of Malaba.
