Project for the Establishment of Environmental NGO?s Profiles, and a Strategy for Creation of a Civil Society Funds Forum
The project aims to establish an updated online system of profiles of civil society organizations that work on environment issues, management of natural resources, and sustainable development. It will cover regular assessments of civil society organizations profiles their organizational structure, and execution performance towards identifying priority intervention areas and organizational strength. It will also serve as a tool for the establishment of a civil society funds forum of organizations that work on environment issues, contributing to a coordinated and integrated intervention of various organizations projects. This will further contribute to an equitable allocation of resources to civil society organizations illegible for funding.
The database of organizations profiles, and the organizations funds forum will establish networks with existing complementing ones like LINK (Network of Mozambique NGOs), National AIDS Council, and the CBNRM database and network.
The results of this project will provide a digital database of CBOs and NGOs with a description of each, its organizational structure, human and financial resources, technical experience, location, and geographical area of intervention.
