The organization will actively participate in the implementation of the SRI system by becoming adopters and having them as trainers of the project's 125 target participants. The trainees will continue the diffusion of SRI with their neighbors, relatives and friends.

The project intends to upscale the implementation of the system of rice intensification in the context of traditional Ifugao rice farming.

The project is aimed directly at the cause why farmers abandon their rice farms, which is the low income from rice farming. By enabling Ifugao farmers to farm at lower cost, organically and still increase their yields, incomes from rice farming can be raised, making rice farming and the maintenance of the rice terraces viable once more.

The traditional practice of organic rice farming in the terraces shall be enhanced and encouraged through the project as it does not advocate inorganic agriculture.

Upscaling the implementation of the Systems of Rice Intensification (SRI) in the 4 UNESCO Heritage Municipalities of Ifugao will enhance the production of traditionally produced organic rice from these areas.
