Goal: Unite young people on Belarus and Polish sides by working together to protect rare and protected species of owls. Project region: administrative regions in Belarus and Poland which adjoin the border: Kamenets, Brest, Malorita districts (Brest region) in Belarus and Lublin area in Poland Target group: youth activists from Brest and Lublin. Activities:- Run joint Belarus-Polish youth camps in Belarus and Poland to share experience on monitoring and conservation of owls (under supervision of professional ornithologists from the region);-Implement joint conservation programme based on the results of the monitoring: a) protect nest sites of forest owls (eagle owl and tawny owl) by working with forestries and b) build and place nest boxes for tawny owl, little owl and barn owl; Run an exchanges for foresters and local authorities in Belarus/Poland to introduce them to conservation of owls on the other side of the border.- Produce a publication promoting and showing ways of conservation of owls
