Regenerating and Sustaining Biodiversity of the Mangayunan CADC, Dupinga Watershed of Nueva Ecija
The Dupinga Watershed form part of the larger formation of Mingan Mountains ? a strategic block of tropical forests that belong the central Sierra Madre Range spanning the areas of Southern Aurora from Baler to Dingalan town in the south. The remaining lush forests in this geographic landscape is rich in flora and fauna (still habitat an nesting ground to the Philippine eagle species) but the presence of active logging operations couples with unregulated poaching of forest products continue posing grave threats to the natural resources and biodiversity in the area
