The projects long-term objectives is to ensure an adequate and sustained biodiversity and natural resources conservation and management within the municipality.

To attain this, the project will strengthen the strategic partnership and collective management of the project area as a watershed unit among the stakeholder focused on the fundamental concerns of building the capacity of local communities and stakeholders in advocating, developing and implementing better protected area management and development.

To conduct detailed planning for the catchment/subwatershed to rationalize land uses incorporating environmental protection on top of production activities. ? To conduct consultative meetings and dialogues with local communities and other stakeholders ? To capacitate the indigenous peoples and upland communities and other stakeholders to implement a sustainable Integrated Watershed Resource Management Plan ? Prepare outreach and IEC materials and watershed maps to aid watershed orientations and awareness generation for local communities and members ? Implement initial priority subwatershed protection and restoration activities in the headwaters of Edralin Falls in Brgy. Antutot and stabilization of Tubo riverbank ? To facilitate the endorsement of the local government units for the proclamation of PMMR as protected landscape at the municipal level
