Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The project intends to facilitate a convergence between GEF SGP and SGP PTF partners and catalyze consolidation of their gains in the province.
Specifically, the project will
? Create venues for the sharing of knowledge for sustainability, for enriching, and nurturing each other.
? Create venues for the application of good practices in the province and based on these good practices, formulate policy recommendations for the municipal, city, and provincial governments.
? Institutionalize the ?tarabidan? or the ?helping each other? among GEF SGP and SGP PTF grantees;
? Create a provincial mechanism for coordination and monitoring and advocacy;
? Promote landscape, ecosystem, M2M, thematic, corridor and geographic approaches for a holistic ecological development in the province.
