Potato, faba bean, maize and avocado cultivation using organic agriculture and soil conservation methods and reforestation of pine, cypress and alder trees in the Nueva Esperanza community, Tacaná, San Marcos, Guatemala
The project will benefit 32 families, out of which 21 beneficiaries are women. The group will form a tree nursery for the production of 20,000 pine, cypress and alder trees that will be reforested on 1.4 ha of land. 1.4 ha of potato, 1.4 ha of maize and 1.4 ha of faba beans will be cultivated using organic agriculture and soil conservation methods. Avocado trees will be planted.

Training workshops will be given in organic agriculture, soil conservation and reforestation.
