Project Characteristics and Results
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
Majority, the communities survive on farming business, which is also directly affected by inadequate energy sources for the conservation of the perishables. Those livelihoods of those around the lake is derived from fishing; which in this case needs enough alternative energy to preserve the fish.
Notable Community Participation
The project is implemented in a participatory manner and the community plays a central role in the implementation of the project, this is done through mobilization, contributing to locally available materials and monitoring the project activities.
