Community Based Range Rehabilitation
The project addresses the degradation of rangeland in the Syrian Steppe, where heavy pressure on the natural resources affects the livestock-based livelihoods of the rangeland communities leading to poor green cover, soil and biodiversity erosion, water and nutrient depletion and desertification. The project aims at strengthening the linkage between the research, development institutions, and local communities in order to realize sustainable achievements and impacts in rangeland rehabilitation.
