CEPPEC: rural socio-environmental development in the state of Mato Grosso do Sul
This project seeks to work with rural Agrarian Reform settlements in the state of Mato Grosso, where problems such as soy plantations, mineral extraction activities and steel plants affect the ecosystem, destroying the Cerrado biome. Maintenance and strengthening of the Andalucia Weaving workshop brand is sought, in addition to creation of a native seed bank within the settlement, emphasizing Cumbaru wild collection and, mainly, demonstrate the feasibility of conciliation of development, respect for culture, and environment.
