Increasing Farmer Groups Capacity in Traditional Indigenous/Local Wisdom-Based Forest and Natural Resource Management, in Kecamatan Nasal, District Kaur (Kabupaten Kaur), Bengkulu.
Goal:
increasing community (farmers) welfare through wasteland rehabilitation and watershed management.
Project objectives:
[1] to reach a community-based intiative with a participatory and sustainable natural resource management action,
[2] To increase partnership collaboration with other stakeholders in reaching the sustainable natural resource management effort,
[3] to increase farmer groups capacity and skill, towards stronger bargaining position facing the community problems,
[4] to plant critical land/wasteland which belong to the famer groups in the project with conservation plants and economically value, so that it could be revived and give benefit.

Expected Output
[1].A grand planning design to organize the villages natural resource in a participatory way,
[2] to build a strong partnership with other stakeholders towards a better sustainable natural resource management,
[3] the farmer groups involved could managed their own problem-solving mechanism for other problem in the future,
[4] the amount of space used and number of conservation plants by the community could contributed to sustainable forest conservation
Beneficiaries:
Direct: community facilitated in 2 villages: 40 households; community participation in villages meeting: 140 persons per meeting, women participation: 25 women for seedlings;
Indirect community of 3 villages: Air Palawan, Sumber Harapan, Sukutiga.
