Establishment of marine reserve to restock inshore marine species and setting up an alternative source of livelihood in tilapia farming - EFKS Youth Group Faleaseela- tai, Lefaga
This project is the initiative of the EFKS Youth Group in the village of Faleaseela-tai focusing on Tilapia Farming for Sustainable Livelihood and at the same time addressing environmental issues such as the decline in fish for consumption because of the over fishing by an increase village population. The project is to gauge alternative source of food from the sea, while a marine reserve is established to restock fish species.
