Promoting Judibela Community Based Integrated Watershed Management Project
Siwalik hill (Churia) range are known to be new mountains thus the nature of the geographical area are very versatile and fragile. Judibela VDC is situated at the foothills of the Siwalik hill. The proposed sites have been over exploited resulting deforestation and causing frequent devastating floods in the village area which yearly convert a hectare of productive and residential land into a dump of sand and boulders followed by the complete destruction of various infrastructures and irrigation channels. The project intervention will help to reclaiming the degraded land and bring back into sustainable production to support livelihood of the local communities
