Promotion of biogas technology to rural areas where animal husbandry is potential.
Promotion of biogas technology to rural areas where animal husbandry is potential.
The project objective of this project is to promote and popularise the use of biogas technology as an alternative energy to fuel wood and Charcoal. The use of fuel wood and charcoal has threatened existance of natural forests in Kilimanjro region. The aerisl survey of the forest of Mt. Kilimanjro of the year 2001 indicated the burining of charcoal in the naturalforest of the mount Kilimanjaro. This has created the need to look for other sources of energy to suppliment the use of fuel wood and charcoal.
The proposed project will introduce and popularize the use of biogas technology as a suppliment source of energy source to fuel wood and charcoal.
