There project has contributed in reduction in soil erosion and increase forest products from the half mile strip area. The project has improved the agricultural practices in the area as the community members are participating in agro forest practices.

The project has planted 200 indigenous trees along Mfumuni water catchment area to protect this water source.

The Group has been able to organize itself to a sustainable group by keeping cash books. The group has managed to raise 120,000 TSH from sell of tree seedling.

The group is planning to have a tree nursery with 200,000 tree seedlings of different type. The tree nursery will be organized in a business oriented way as an income generating activity for the group.
The group will continue with training on soil conservation, Bio-intensive agro forestry and use of appropriate technologies in irrigation to improve income and ensure sustainable livelihood of the community in Masia Mamba.
