Providing 60 families with solar water heaters, each with a 100-150 litre capacity depending on the size of the family. A series of training workshops, seminars and conferences will work to raise awareness of the importance of energy conservation and alternative energy sources. This will be reinforced through the printing of brochures, calendars and stickers which promote these same issues. The project also seeks to provide work for the youth, running a number of workshops on how to properly maintain and repair the water heaters. In order to widen the project?s sphere of influence, networking between five smaller NGOs will be conducted. These will be trained in better management practices of small projects, and will be used to raise awareness of the project?s aims.
