The main case of the environment degradation in coastal area is related to the lack of community awareness, which later leads to community's excuse on livelihood fullfilment that contribute to the mangrove illegal logging and later spreading to the inland logging. The mangrove was used to build building construction, firewood, stove-fuel; and it had been logged due to land-transformed into fish-pond. This phenomenon had caused damage within the Lamun ecosystem, due to sedimentation and or constant abration. The coral reef also experience simliar serious destruction following the decrease of fish population, causing very difficult income situation for the fishermen of Dusun Puntondo, Laikang village.

Goals:

- To recover the critical land condition in coastal area.
- To reduce intrution and abration process
- To use the non-productive land for food security reason,
- To increase coastal community awareness towards environment preservation
- To provide environment educational media for community, which is related to renewable energy issue
- To push more capable community organization (CBO) which could independently organize local natural resource

Expected Result:

- Minimize intrution and abration in Puntondo hamlet
- Optimize and sustain the natural resource management within the coastal area critical land,
- To provide sufficient education media for the wider community, on the food security concept and local consumption for the local community with alternative energy-used,
- To decrease the oil energy consumption and carbon emitance,
- To open the local community-based natural resource industry on biodiesel energy (with the jarak pagar trees),
- Increasing community awareness on the possibility for oil production out of an environment friendly or the benefit of the jarak tree biodiesel-energy consumption and
- Increase of local community welfare
