Natural Resources Management by indigenous Communities for livelihood development project
The project aiming at helping two villages of indigenous community to have secure right to access and participate in Community Forest management over 839 ha around their village through establishment of Community Forestry in Tropeang Sre village ( more than 500 ha) and Strengthening Community Forestry in Chrap village to manage 339 ha of forest land. The project also provides capacity building on forest resources management and related laws, Agro-forestry and leadership for indigenous communities and community forestry committee members. The project also focus on empowerment women to participate in community forestry management and livelihood improvement by providing direct support (coaching and training) and piloting agro-forestry in 1 ha of land and organizing saving groups and revolving fund for small business development.

Chrap Community Forestry has capacity to manage 839 ha forest land.
At least 60% of villagers participated in NRM
Around 70% of villagers were received training and understanding the important of NRM.
Community Forestry has inside rules and regulation.
10 Community Forestry committee members were trained on forest law and related sub-decree on establishing community Forestry.
Community Forestry committee members have capacity to disseminate related laws and sub decree to their CFo members.
# of people trained in Agro-forestry and 1ha of land have been use for demonstrated Agro-forestry technique.

Gender Focus
