Land Degradation and Beach Erosion along the North East Coast of Grenada
Land Degradation and Beach Erosion along the North East Coast of Grenada
This project will use the north-east coastal area of Grenada as a research and outdoor learning laboratory for young children and communities. Pre and post project surveys will be undertaken to ascertain the existing situation and the impact the project has had on the area. There will be substantial community component and strong advocacy for policy to change the existing conditions.

The project objectives are:

(i) to develop a strong lobby of support to address the serious problems of land degradation in the project area; and

(ii) to inform, educate and develop solutions to address land degradation in the north east coast of Grenada.

It is expected that project beneficiaries will become change agents.
