Project Characteristics and Results
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
A number of activities planned will address these:
a) Community workshops to raise awareness of the impacts of Climate Change
b) Schools' fair and marine camp - students in participating schools will be given activities that will enhance their knowledge of their marine environment
c) School's Adopt-A-Habitat Program - where participating school's are given an ecosystem each to study.
Significant Participation of Indigenous Peoples
All activities to be implemented by the project will focus solely on the indigenous communities of Rotuma
