The buffer zone of Kulunata reserve is located on the territory of the Karakuldja ayul okmotu. The land on this territory has degraded due to the extensive utilization of the land as a pasture. There is a great wind and water erosion. This processes are greatly effecting the flora and fauna on the territory of the Kulunata buffer zone.
