Clean air for the future
The project aims at raising awareness, educating and strengthening the capacity of 15 journalists in Mures county so they can constructively intervene in the area of Climate Change. Further on, the project partners will assist the 15 journalists in producing a number of press articles on the topic. Also, the project will target 10 schools in the same locations and hold training classes on Climate Change using multimedia presentations, discussions and work assignments for small groups. Together with the professors a creativity contest will be organised and 20 winners will participate in the practical session of building a passive solar panel system for heating water with a specialist from "Prietenii Pamantului" Association from Galati. Twenty Roma men will participate in the practical session of building other two solar panels, part of an integrated system activated by solar energy through a photovoltaic panel for producing hot water. This system will be introduced in an educational assistance center for over 80 children, youth and adults in the village of Soard.
