Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
The program is organized to benefit the disadvantaged rural communities in Namibia, particularly youth and women who are formally identified by the trust. The local community is negatively affected by youth unemployment, food security, annual drought and loss of land, and HIV/AIDS which pose a threat to the development of the Omaheke Region.
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
The use of animal waste into energy for cooking will enhance awareness of local deforestation, and the related issues of sustainable energy at both the local and global levels.
