Through facilitation CF management and providing them capacity building, community will be able to sustainably manage the natural resources in 9 villages in the two proposed communes and will be recognized by CF. illegal logging activities and forest land clearing for tree planting will be reduced, and so wildlife become more abundant into the two commune forest sites. This project will help to improve traditional livelihood of the local communities through maintaining NTFPs collection, keeping safe from outside traders and saving activities among them in their communities. Therefore CF members including women in the communities will participate actively in CF management (Biodiversity and wildlife conservation and protection) undertaken by CF association committees.

Through this project, BPS will also build up capacity for women leaders, CF committees, community members and other community leaders through trainings that make them understand the process of community forest development leading to sustainable and reliable. Buddhist monks and laypersons at the Buddhist temples are very influential persons to households so that when BPS mobilize them in protection and conservation natural resource and biodiversity, they will interest the households in community around their temple through Buddhist principles to stop illegal activities on wildlife and forest destruction.
