ROP: Home Solar Electri Power System, Anguar State
This is a planning grant project where activities will be undertaken to develop the full proposal. During the term of project the island would learn and gain experience in use of renewable energy and prepare to become self-sufficient in generating electric power from clean, readily available and limitless energy sources to reduce its present 100% dependency on expensive imported oil to a level sustainable for its economic development. As such, this pilot project is designed to prepare the island State of Angaur for eventful upgrade to or replacement of its diesel power plant with a cost efficient and revenue-generating community renewable energy power plant that will be utilizing energy fro the sun, the wind and even ocean or combination of these renewable energy resources for production of electrical power and have the capability to integrate with homes, private business and government establishments with own independent power generation sytems.
