A. The immediate benefits of receiving Ceramic Water Purifiers:
We provided 934 water filters to 934 families, 54 water filters to 5 schools 2881 students (1591 females) and 63 teachers, 10 water filters to 5 pagodas 562 persons include monk, nurse and people and 2 water filters to a health care center.
People have pure drinking water to drink everyday, students and teachers in the target schools have pure water from water filter to drink. They do not need to spend money for buying pure water drinking at market or spend time to collect the firewood from the forest. Through the selling water filter, the saving group is increased in its capital, which they could use the increased money for other purpose/or make a small business in order to improve their livelihood. We selected water filter groups and voting for group leaders. We assisted group leaders to set up regulation, structure, role and responsibilities for the water filter group for group members to apply.

B. For Open wells:
We constructed 6 open wells in 2 villages (Tien Prey and Cham Chas villages), 3 open wells per village with total direct beneficiaries' amount of 64 families (126 persons). The immediate benefits from the open wells such as: the people can use the water to sprinkle the crop, for animal raising, using and drinking in family, saving time to bring the water from far away, have more time in generating incomes for their livelihoods. The open well has management committee and regulation for using, contribution in the group for maintenance and rehabilitation and especially official recognized from the local communities.

C. Pond constractions:
We constructed 2 ponds (average deep from 6 to 7metres) in 2 villages (Rolus Kert and Rolus Kandal) and established 2 pond management committees with 14 members (7 persons of the each committee) with total beneficiaries from the pond constraction amount of 160 families (95 women lead household).
The immediate benefits from the pond construction such as: the people can use the water to sprinkle the crop, for animal raising, using and drinking in family, saving time to bring the water from far away, have more time in generating incomes for their livelihoods. The pond has management committee and set up regulation for using, contribution in the group for maintenance and rehabilitation and especially official recognized from the local communities the same as the open well above.

D. For Rain water catchments:
Now we have constructed 2 rain catchments in 2 schools at "Chheutom Junior High School" and "Yous Viney Primary School". Total beneficiaries amount of 1078 students (533 females) and 26 teachers. The immediate from the rain catchments construction such as: they have pure water for using and drinking in the school; and having rain catchments for stocking rainwater in the rainy season. The committees has the good regulation (structure of school is recognized from government)
