Land surveying for design of projects to implement five mini/pico-hydroelectric stations with capacity of ten Kw in rural villages of Manica and Tete provinces
A project aiming to conduct a survey for the identification of 10 potential sites for the installation of 5 Pico Hydropower isolated systems up to 10Kw/h to generate electricity for domestic use and productivity activities for income generation of the rural communities of Manica Province. Being electricity a clean source of energy and a key core factor for empowerment of the rural development, improvement of social and economical conditions of rural communities, the project will complement the Mozambican government efforts of electrification of rural areas not yet covered by the national or local grid electricity through and simultaneously contribute to preservation of the environment.
