Remediation of land fills by afforestation at the area of Homsk settlement, Drogichin district, Brest oblast
Aim: Restoration of the sand-pits by the means of forestation on the territory of Homsk Community, Drogichin dist. (Brest oblast)
Goals:
? To determine 6 most environmentally dangerous land fills/sand-pits and restore them by the means of afforestation (not less than 6 ha.)
? To develop restoration activities together with district administration for the desolated land fills/sand-pits.
? To determine with the help of Drogichin Environmental Inspection the reduced level of pollutants in the river Yaselda and its tributaries. Disseminate project results among the local population
