Development of an Eco-Tourism Centre for the Disabled People in Nanyuki.
KADEP NGO will work disabled persons in Nanyuki in various tasks in order to enhance their capacity and ensure that they are able to manage their eco-tourism centre sustainably. This will include technical aspects such as hiring a contractor to build the Disability Tourist Center.
The Project will develop 4 workshops to be used and managed by the disabled people in Nanyuki to produce wares and gift items for sale to tourists visiting Mt Kenya, Laikipia and Samburu region. The project shall demonstrate to the world that such products can be developed without destroying trees or wildlife.
