Xacriabá de Mãos Dadas
This project has as its goal protection of headwaters in the Santa Cruz and São Domingos Villages, seedling plantation in the springs, backyards and indigenous schools, as well as environmental education in the community.
The Indigenous Land region is dry and degraded. Due to the lack of rainfall, fires and deforestation of spring areas, the amount of water available is decreasingly scarce. Recovery of springs is one of the necessary steps to change this situation.
