Background:
As the structure of kinship has changed and many have migrated or have changed their way of life the traditional know how which the project was to built on is fast disappearing.
Therefore the implementation work which was very slow was terminated and the project shifted to QASHGHAIE KINSHIP ACTIVE MEMBERS FOR ENVIRONMENT which consists of elders and activists of the kinship for:

• As the kinship practices was based on oral knowledge and many of the generations involved are not present anymore gathering what is left is important as it is all valuable resource management knowledge which is fast disappearing.
  
• Collecting and making public what is left of the resource and land management knowledge and practices of the kinship through interviews, collecting the land laws and private documents, extracting the management practices and publishing the information gathered in a form of a booklet with a CD of interviews.
