Promotion of awareness on POPs and the Stockholm Convention
To increase public awareness on POPs, the Stockholm Convention and the NIP with the view to fostering understanding, which will lead to improved compliance to obligations, which are stipulated under the Convention. Increased awareness on POPs, NIP and the Stockholm Convention will trigger increased activition at the Government and community levels aimed at improving compliance and effectiveness in ensuring that Tanzania meets its obligations as a Party to the Convention.
