Background:
- In partnership with GEF CACP this project through participatory work have engaged certain stakeholders through the work conducted in Cheetah Project No.IRA/05/09/OP3 (58th)
- Project grantee and selected members of Environmetal Guards have participated in participatory trainings on PRA, Participatory M&E and Indicator Development and stakeholder analysis through project No.IRA/05/09/OP3 (57th)
- In this project a participatory facilitator will be engaged to help establish Local Active Groups and assist to form local funds for livelihood practices especially for women/men / youth of the area to engage whole families
- Project Core Active Group will be reinforced through the above participatory wok
- Literature on participatory approaches of the project will be published in booklet forms
- Two guide books will be prepared and published
- A booklet and short film on lessons learned will published and produced
- A quarterly project newsletter will be produced in addition to a yearly Asiatic Cheetah Cluster Newsletter. Close cooperation between SGP Cheetah projects and building on each others learning and experience will be promoted
- Policy dialogue with stakeholders will take place through SGP Wildlife Theme Group and Asiatic Cheetah Cluster using power points, film and literature produced.
