This project focuses on the conservation of biodiversity in a forest ecosytem while simultaneously generating alternative livelihood opportunities in the community of Colonarie. The project also includes an environmental education component, the construction of a nature trail, and capacity building for the grantee. By the end of the project the grantee expects to have in place a well managed nature trail whch illustrates sustainable management and use of tropical forest ecosystem in SIDS.
