"EDUCATOR SERIES" with the Media, Rural-based newspapers and Radio in KwaZulu-Natal, Limpopo, Norht West and Eastern Cape
The Project seeks to create awareness about the SGP and all related components and also to educate rural communities about the primary nature conservation problems. The project will use community radio/local newspapers as a vehicle to get the message across and forge responsible citizenry on issues around nature conservation. Participating partners (radio and print) will be capacitated to creatively design and package programmes/stories in an "Edutaining" approach, broadcast and publish them in local languages and dialects under the banner of "Educator Series" reaching out to rural communities title. The programme/stories will be aducative, with strong elements of advocacy.
