The main objective of Wind water pump development and dissemination project is to improve and refine two models of wind pump and copy 6 wind pumps from the prototype models for dissemination to farmers in country wide through training course, installation a long major national roads and workshop.

Project Characteristics and Results
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
At the beginning of year 2009 after collecting data from two wind pumps testing, wind pump adaptation of trainees and the result of 8 wind pumps show, CDI will conduct work shop to release the information and disseminate this low cost technology to the public. 50 participants come from donor, NGO, public institution and university who work relevant in field of agriculture and water supply will attend this work shop. At lease 2 TV channels and 5 newspapers will broadcast and release information from that event to the public in country wide. In addition CDI will construct 6 more wind pumps to install along 6 main national roads to show the public. Interested passengers can see and contact information. At the time CDI will take opportunity to show wind pump at event of agricultural product exhibition especially at Royal ploughing ceremony where highest national leaders, like the King, prime minister, president of the senate and parliament house, come to present.
Capacity - Building Component
In order to disseminate this technology to farmer CDI will select 30 key farmers who can afford to construct wind pump for use by themselves, and can transfer to other after they completed training course. CDI hopes that at lease 10 wind pumps will be adapted and applied by trainees.
