Project for establishment of an herbarium complex in Homoíne ? a project that under intention for preservation of local and traditional knowledge aims to establish in Homoíne district in Inhambane province, an herbarium complex that will preserve and multiply plant species with biodiversity and medicinal value; the project will also contribute to mitigation of land degradation, and promote sustainable land management while improving livelihoods in this miombo woodland and coastal forest ecosystems that are occasionally faced with draughts.
