APDESZ – Associação para Promoção de Desenvolvimento Económico e Social de Zandamela
Txivuno Project (sustainable land management and biodiversity conservation for poverty alleviation in Zandamela e Maculuva) ? a project that aims to enable provision of safe drinking water to Zandamela and Maculuva communities, establish tree nurseries for supply of fruit trees, shadow trees, trees for firewood and building poles, and yokes to help in husbandry and transport within the designated villages. The project will greatly contribute to mitigation of land degradation (soil impoverishment and deforestation), will promote sustainable land management through protection of watersheds and diversification of livelihoods support activities.
