BATWA PV FOR DEVELOPMENT - UOBDU
The project involves carrying out consultations with beneficiary communities in order to identify innovative adaptation activities that use indigenous knowledge of batwa communities to protect the environment and improve livelihoods; identifying indigenous batwa community organizations whose capacities should be built in aspects of project implementation and advocacy; documenting the plight and issues of the batwa communities through video, case studies, etc. as evidence to back advocacy for redress; exploring possibilities of collaboration amongst SGP, EU and DFID in support of the batwa communities as a minority group; and assisting UOBDU or any other batwa organization to prepare a GEFable proposal for a full grant
