The project goal -is the research of the population state of the protected species of mammals - European Hamster (Cricetus Cricetus L.), as an indicator species for High Conservation Value Farmlands (HCVF), with the aim of including HCVF into the structure of the Ecological Network of Belarus and identification and introduction of conservation measures for European Hamster in the project region.
Aims of the project:
1. To evaluate the historical and present distribution of European Hamster in the project region by means of data survey (questionnaires) among the residents/local population and workers of agricultural enterprises.
