Main project aim ? improvement of quality and effectiveness of conservation of the most worthwhile ecosystems and species of the Biosphere Reserve through involvement of local communities into its active conservation, Biosphere Reserve territory arrangement, development of ecological tourism and education

Project objectives:

1. Inventory of valuable ecosystems and habitats of protected species and handing them on under protection of land user
2. Reconsidering of actual zoning of the Biosphere Reserve and working out proposals on local ecological network establishment
3. Improvement of local residents? awareness of the Biosphere Reserve, its spatial arrangement and importance
4. Involvement of local communities (forestry servicemen, school teachers and pupils) into conservation of the Reserve ecosystems through establishment of Caretakers Network and School Ecological Clubs on the Reserve territory
5. Development of tourism in the Reserve by force of tourist routs and ecological paths arrangement, seeking for potential agro tourism households
6. Establishment of the Reserve?s Visiting Centre
