Restoration of the natural hydrological regime of the reserve “Dokudovskiy” upset by peat extraction (peat’s fire prevention and biodiversity conservation biggest upland bog in Grodno oblast)
Goal : To restore the natural hydrological regime of the reserve ?Dokudovskiy? upset by peat extraction with the purpose of peat?s fire prevention and biodiversity conservation biggest upland bog in Grodno oblast.
Tasks:
1.To develop scientific basis for restoration of the natural hydrological regime of upper bog Dokudovskoe.
2.To develop engineering design for restoration of the natural hydrological regime of upper bog Dokudovskoe.
3.To implement the engineering design for restoration of the natural hydrological regime of reserve Dokudovskiy.
4.To carry out the fire prevention measures in western part of bog, foreseen by project on allotment and preparations for the peat extraction.
5.To develop the monitoring system for the evaluation of hydro regime restoration.
