Project Characteristics and Results
Promoting Public Awareness of Global Environment
An attempt was made to aware people of the impact of the scarp on the health and hygiene. The detail campaign is to be organized in the next phase of the project.
Emphasis on Sustainable Livelihoods
As the project activities lack the mechanism of sustainable approach involving the group or institution the sustainable livelihoods were not addressed well. However some approach was made to gather people but the time and money were the constraints. An extensive market research and identification of the mature market is still to be found. The sustainable process is to be addressed through SHG/cobblers groups on revenue based approach in the next phase.
