Promotion of women household income status through small scale horticultural production in Nyakanga Wards, Musoma Rural District
Faraja women Group is one of the women groups in Musoma Rural District Council, which is benefitting from the Lake Victoria Water Resources. The group is using lake water for irrihation ourposes in their garded which is ery close to the Lake. Currently the crops grown by the group include maize, tomatoes, watermelown, chinese cabbages etc.,

The project main objective is to conduct topographic susrvey of the project site before project implementation. Also to procure of the windpowered irrigation pump, pipes and accessories. it will also conbstruct 120m3 water storage reservoir tanks, intake canal drainage ditches and canals.
