Enhance Public – Private and Community partnership approach for the Carbon Sinks through integrated Conservation and livelihood approaches
Project ensure more peoples participation, ownership and involvement of the community through Public-Private-Community participation for developing Carbon Sinks through integrated Conservation and livelihood approaches. It aims to reforest the degraded community forestlands.
It also aims to initiate locally applicable models of Soil and Moisture conservation works, thereby preventing land degradation and improving quality of the agricultural lands. Through the formation of SHG's and developing a cadre of volunteers it also ensures institutional sustainability
